Dylan Phillips

Attorney
Dylan Phillips was born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, and is an active member of the Virginia State Bar. Dylan is an attorney serving clients’ needs in the fields of business and commercial law, appellate litigation, contract law, and other forms of civil litigation.
Prior to law school, Dylan earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University. While in school, Dylan worked at a small criminal defense firm and for a family law firm. After graduation, Dylan worked for Ernst & Young’s Risk Assurance practice and then later for Accenture Federal Services. During Dylan’s consulting career, he focused on contract management systems, internal auditing, and financially significant technology.
Dylan earned his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property and a focus in business law. Dylan was an Editor of the Journal of Law and Technology, led multiple student organizations, won several awards for his publications in technology and intellectual property law, and was a finalist in the Georgetown Iron Tech Lawyer Competition. While in school, Dylan worked for a federal judge in the E.D.V.A. Bankruptcy Court, the Arlington, Virginia Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, and for a Fairfax Circuit Court judge.
Following law school, Dylan worked for a boutique civil litigation law firm in Fairfax, Virginia. Dylan is admitted to practice in the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia and U.S. District Courts (E.D.V.A., W.D.V.A., D.C.). Dylan has published works in the University of Richmond’s Journal of Law and Technology, the FCPA Blog, and was a contributing writer for books on corporate compliance and the constitutionality of arbitration.
