Juan S. Patino is a bilingual Senior Associate whose practice focuses on commercial litigation and serving as corporate counsel to businesses throughout Georgia. He represents small and midsize companies in a broad range of disputes and business matters, combining practical legal guidance with strategic advocacy. Juan regularly represents roofing contractors and other construction-related businesses throughout Georgia and serves as trusted counsel to many Spanish-speaking business owners navigating legal and operational challenges.
Juan’s litigation experience includes complex business disputes, construction litigation, defamation claims, contract disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, and appellate litigation. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts and is committed to developing efficient, results-oriented strategies tailored to each client’s business objectives. His appellate experience includes serving as the primary drafter of the appellee’s brief in Padgett v. Georgia Republican Party, Inc., Case No. A26A0299 (unpublished opinion), where the Georgia Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment in favor of his client.
In his corporate practice, Juan advises businesses on day-to-day legal issues, contract matters, risk management, and corporate governance. He also assists nonprofit organizations entities navigate the tax-exempt application process.

Education and Experience

Juan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Georgia State University. While at Georgia State, he served as President of Sigma Nu Fraternity, was named Greek Person of the Year, and received the Kenneth M. England Scholarship in recognition of his academic achievement and leadership.

Juan earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where he served as Senior Editor of the Journal of Law & Religion. During law school, he gained courtroom experience through internships with the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office and the Fulton County Solicitor-General’s Office.

Outside the Office

Outside of his legal practice, Juan enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog, golfing, and attending sporting events. He is active in his church and serves on the Georgia State University Sigma Nu Alumni Advisory Board.
